This was the first digital shoot for this module. I wanted to document my typical walk in my local woodland. This walking route has been reduced because of a new landowner closing down footpaths. I have helped to coordinate an effort to have them added to the definitive map.

I selected these images to use as tests for alternative processes experiments. I like the texture of the wood in the close shots of the trees. The tree which has cut up had fallen after heavy rain. There is no longer the dense forest that used to be there as the landowner removed large sections of it, which may have impacted the absorption of the rainfall.

The last two prints here are used extensively in my module.
